Science & Pipeline
From cannabinoid mechanisms to clinical investigation.
Raphael’s science platform brings together purified cannabinoid research, receptor biology, cellular signaling and inflammatory-disease investigation. The evidence, limits and historical research context are kept visible on this page.
Science at a glance
A research story that can be understood without a dropdown.
Raphael describes a platform focused on investigating cannabinoid biology in inflammatory-disease contexts. Rheumatoid arthritis is the lead research program; the other areas below are separately labelled as historical, exploratory or presented without asserting current operational status.
Scientific platform
A focused framework for studying cannabinoid biology.
Raphael’s platform is organized around the biological questions it investigates—not broad consumer-cannabis terminology. Defined research inputs move through receptor and signaling questions into inflammatory-disease investigation and, where appropriate, clinical study.

Mechanism framework
Five connected questions.
This framework is a clear way to describe the scope of scientific investigation. It does not establish clinical efficacy, a mechanism of action for a marketed product or a regulatory conclusion.
Research begins with defined cannabinoid compounds and controlled formulation questions.
Scientists examine receptors expressed in relevant human cells and tissues.
Immune-cell communication and signaling pathways are investigated in context.
Research considers cytokine signaling and chronic inflammatory mechanisms.
Study results are kept tied to design, limitations and original source material.
Pipeline snapshot
A status-led view of the research platform.
Each program is described with the evidence that exists today. The presentation intentionally avoids unsupported clinical phases, regulatory commitments and timelines.

The following statements reproduce the company’s study-summary wording. They describe preliminary observations in 12 participants, not independently confirmed treatment effects or established commercial-product equivalence.
Raphael’s formula improved DAS28 scores from high disease activity to moderate disease severity by Week 4.
12 adult patients with high disease activity.
91.6% of the participants in the clinical trial stated that they would recommend RaphaWell to other RA patients.
The Disease Activity Score (DAS28)—a comprehensive metric assessing RA disease activity—declined by 19.2%, reflecting a shift in participants from high to moderate disease activity.
By Week 4, Raphael’s formula significantly improved:
- Pain levels.
- The ability to live life to the fullest.
- The ability to pursue passions and hobbies.
- The ability to enjoy relationships.
- The ability to enjoy daily life.
- Sleep rating.
- Relaxation rating.
- DAS28 score.

Immune-cell communication and inflammatory pathways in the legacy research record.
Legacy Raphael materials describe research around a specific strain labelled CBX, including immune-cell communication, cytokine signaling and chronic-lung-inflammation context in human and mouse-model studies. This record is retained as historical research context; it does not state that the program is active today or that the findings establish a therapy.

Oncology supportive-care research
Historical research context, carefully separated from anticancer claims.
Legacy materials describe exploratory cannabinoid research related to supportive-care effects associated with cancer treatment, including quality-of-life and symptom context. They do not establish anticancer efficacy, an approved use or an active institutional program.
Schneider history
Young-patient supportive-care context
Legacy content refers to work with Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel around exploratory supportive-care questions. This historical context does not imply a current institutional partnership.

Adult oncology-supportive context
Legacy content also refers to investigation at Rambam oncology and hematology departments. The new site does not describe this as a current partnership or as evidence of anticancer activity.

Supportive care is not cancer treatment
Research and commercial language stays separate from patient care. No treatment, clinical-trial status or clinical-benefit claim is added beyond the cited historical source record.
Contact the partnerships teamPersonalized cannabinoid research
A receptor-mapping hypothesis—not a personalized-treatment offering.
Legacy materials describe identifying cannabinoid receptors in human biopsies and cells to examine biological variability. This is presented as a research hypothesis and mechanism-oriented direction; Raphael is not represented as providing personalized prescriptions or clinical treatment through this page.
How do cannabinoid receptors expressed in cells and biopsies vary across biological contexts?
Receptor identification alone does not establish individual response, clinical efficacy, dose selection or a personalized prescription service.
Research & collaboration
Institutional history shown with status boundaries.
Historical collaboration is described separately from a continuing partnership. Institutional history is presented without implying a current partnership or endorsement.
Historical cannabinoid-research context
Legacy materials describe research with the Medical Cannabis Research and Innovation Center at Rambam, including molecular and biochemical cannabinoid research. A later company source references a sponsored research agreement signed in 2019; current scope, exclusivity and status are not asserted here.
